Obituary from the Johnstown Tribune Monday evening, November 24, 1941 page 22: MRS. ANNIE TOPPER, FORMER JOHNSTOWN RESIDENT, EXPIRES Mrs. Annie (Farrell) Topper, a former Johnstown resident, died at 9:30 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of a cousin, Stanley Topper of Windber, where she had resided. Friends are being received at the Conway Funeral Home, Locust Street. Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock on Tuesday morning in St. John Gualbert's Catholic Church Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Topper was born in Philadelphia, a daughter of William and Mary (Boyle) Farrell, and formerly resided at 326 Oak Street, Seventh Ward. Her husband, Francis Topper, died on December 2, 1925. Surviving is a brother, William Farrell of Philadelphia. Two brothers, Louis and James Farrell, and a sister, Mrs. Rose McGuire, preceded her in death.
